Perimenopause is the stage before menopause and IS the most symptomatic stage.  It can last from 2-12 years, and starts on average at age 45 but for some women symptoms can start to present in their late 30’s.

Menopause is the term used for the retirement of the sex hormones produced within our ovaries, and when they stop we are no longer able to conceive.  Menopause itself is actually marked by just one day, and that is defined by 12 consecutive months without a menstrual bleed (aka period).  The period after this is called post-menopause.

We spend a whopping 1/3 of our lives in Menopause, now surely that justifies it being a topic at the forefront of our minds.

WE should ALL be talking about these natural stages of life and the symptoms they bring, which are affecting us worse now more than ever due to our western diet and lifestyles.

So if you would like to know more about perimenopause, the symptoms that can present and how you can deal with them then this workshop is for YOU.  The sooner you prepare or start making changes the easier your journey will be.
